Good Luck & Congratulations Mayor Benigni!

Have you read Mayor Benigni’s passionate resignation letter, yet? Click here.

While sad news for our City…I believe he was one of the best Mayor’s Meriden ever had (at least since I’ve been a resident for 36-years).

Why, you ask?

  • He was always down-to-Earth,
  • He was always available and willing to listen to the public.
  • He was here and there…You’d always spot him different places in Meriden during work hours AND off-hours.
  • He made a ton of improvements, such as the Daffodil Festival getting better each year attracting local and guests from near and far,
  • Meriden looks a lot better, such as increased businesses came to our City

I consider him the “People’s Mayor” (just like the “People’s Princess”).

He didn’t just “play” or “act” his role as a Proud Meriden-ite…I truly believe he believed and lived life as a Proud Meriden-ite…And for this; I humbly Thank You, Mayor Benigni, for a job well done :-D

Congratulations for securing your new role at Principal of Cromwell High School, & God Bless You & Your Family today and always.

    Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for making our list complete…look forward to checking them out, especially with this awesome weather :-)
